“Wish I stayed somewhere else”
Tall ceilings
Everything, funny smell, old floors, ruined shower, couldn’t get hold of anyone when I got there, unaware of £100 deposit still haven’t received 4 days later. Broken window lots of noise from outside
Free parking. All access codes worked ok. The bedding was fresh & clean. The fridge and microwave were clean inside, although i did not use anything from the kitchen. My request for a downstairs room was accepted.
There was a musty smell when entering the room as though it had not been used or ventilated for a long time. The window would not open. Wallpaper was coming off, and the carpet had holes around the edge in parts. The TV remote did not work, I tried manually, and it came on pixelated* *I did not phone the helpline about the TV as stated a call out would be £35.00 if not an emergency. Old looking burn mark on the worktop dated and worn furniture. Repairs needed to update the room. See photos.

Do not stay here if you are a single woman. Not like what was shown in the visuals. Bathroom was completely different and anything but « luxury », as it was advertised. Given that you were apparently meant to share this bathroom with others, it didn’t feel hygienic. Rooms were less than desirable. Property didn’t feel safe. The back building I was directed to had been damaged and so it would catch on the latch, leaving it completely unable to be closed/locked. I left immediately and booked an actual hotel room within a 20 minute walk from this property after messaging them about my concerns and they told me I couldn’t have a refund. Terrible listing. Only stay here if desperate and need something cheap.
