Walked into restaurant about 8.50pm and asked if they had a table for two. He looked unsure but seated us in a not busy restaurant with lots of seats. We were given menus and some iced water It was then almost 30 mins until we finally managed to catch someone's eye to take our order. There was what seemed to be a manager and 2 staff working who managed to skillfully avoid even looking our way. We were SO close to just getting up and walking out. Just after we managed to order another table arrived and were seated and served immediately. The food was great as was the bottle of wine but the whole evening (our wedding anniversary) was a little spoiled by being ignored. Just to add the waitress who looked after us as if we finished our food was lovely.

The bathroom wasnβt properly cleaned, there were no βdo not disturbβ signs and the room service menu only applied during the day (I assume), when we tried to order food at night they were only taking orders off the bar bites menu but there wasnβt a menu like that in the room so it was a lot of guess work, thankfully the TAP staff were helpful and did not disappoint with the food! Aside from the lovely staff member we met on check out day, the staff on the desk during check in looked uninterested and were too busy talking to each other before noticing that we needed assistance, to which they couldnβt help and didnβt have any meaningful explanation for why things were missing from our room.
