“Okay, comfortable, didn’t eat in the hotel. Clothed moths in the rooms are a no-no to a return visit.”
It’s a fine old hotel in a great location and appears well looked after with sufficient staff. The bed was comfortable and the facilities adequate. Big rooms and bathroom with a bath and a separate shower cubicle with good water flow.
The bathroom sink didn’t have a plug hole guard and my toothpaste tub top rolled in to the drain. I could see a few other things in the drain hole so I was not the first and it might have been something more important that I needed to get back. The room has moths which is likely to be widespread and I think they need to get in pest control. This last fact will stop me going back.
“Very comfortable, spacious stay”
Very convenient from the train station and near all the amenities. Our room was extremely spacious, bathroom as well.
The only thing for me personally was the hairdryer but that’s minor
Ideal location close to New Street Station
Some areas of the hotel need a good clean and polish

Absolutely nothing
“Fantastic location and comfortable room.”
Excellent breakfast and friendly service. Lovely room with well-equipped ensuite.
Communication about pre paid breakfast. The list in the restaurant was seemingly incorrect.
