There was blood on the wall inside the room on the door frame.
We stayed at the Future Inn Cardiff for one night while passing through. The welcome was exceptionally friendly and attentive, definitely worth highlighting! Our room was clean and had everything we needed, although the hotel feels a little dated overall. Perfectly fine for a short stopover, but nothing particularly special. A nice bonus is the pleasant walk along the waterfront and canal towards Cardiff city centre. Overall, a decent choice for a night, with particularly lovely staff at reception!

Room was clean and tidy and modern, in line with our tastes. Bed a little hard. Breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful.
Slightly hard beds. Heating controls small for elderly eyesight.
