“A gorgeous apartment let down by a completely broken, lottery-style entry system”
The apartment itself is genuinely wonderful,spacious, bright, impeccably clean, and located right in the center of Brașov, just a few minutes’ walk from any destination. Inside, you will find everything you could possibly need, making it a truly relaxing space to unwind.
The access system to the building is an absolute nightmare and a total lottery. Getting in requires passing through two electronic security checkpoints, and the codes provided simply did not work. On our first arrival, we wasted 40 frustrating minutes trying to get inside. The owner insisted the codes were correct, then blamed an "unstable internet connection," and ultimately we only gained entry because a fellow resident used a physical key to let us in. Later, after going out for dinner and a walk, we tried again and spent another 30 minutes locked out in vain. The second access panel is physically smashed and broken,the owner casually brushed this off by blaming "demented kids." When we sought help and support, we were met with dismissive excuses, being told that "we were typing something wrong." Other residents confirmed that this failure happens constantly. It is terrifying to think what would happen if you arrived at a late hour when no neighbors are awake to rescue you Apart from this major flaw where entering the building feels like a dangerous gamble, the stay was exceptional. It features top-tier cleanliness, a prime location, and a wonderful ambiance. It is a place I would gladly return to with all my heart,if only I didn't have to spend so much time fighting with the front door every single time I try to come home.
