“Beetje liefde nodig”
Goede locatie, dicht tegen het centrum en station. Ruimte genoeg in de kamer, groot bed en de badkamer was recent vernieuwd.
Matras wat aan de harde kant, de veren kwamen er gewoon door. Denk nieuwe matras of topper erover zou geen slechte zaak zijn. Het gordijn was niet verduisterend en rook naar kattenurine.
Easy to walk to the high street/university area (15 mins) Staff was approachable e.g. when I asked for an ironing board, they brought it up Helpful staff offering to carry my luggage up for me.
Although the bedroom was clean, the bathroom was very filthy. It had been left with tooth brush/soap splatters everywhere. The walls around the shower area was dirty too. This made me feel uncomfortable staying there. There was no hair dryer or iron in the room. I had conference while I was there and meant to wake up early next day. I went downstairs twice asking for a hair dryer, but no one brought it up. I texted and called the number too, explaining I needed it before going to bed. I stayed up till very late waiting and finally went to bed without being able to wash my hair. Before going to bed, I sent another text requesting that they at least brought it up in the morning, but they hadnt so I went to the conference and business meetings/networking without washing my hair! To be fair, when I came back to the hotel in the evening the hair dryer was outside my room, but it was 24 hrs after I had requested it. I had the same issue with borrowing an iron for my clothes.
