“Wouldn't recommend - I barely slept and left exhausted”
The apartments overall looked nice and the location was good but I wouldn't come again.
Disappointing stay – poor night's sleep I stayed at De Vere Cotswold Water Park for my birthday and had been looking forward to a relaxing break. Unfortunately, I left feeling exhausted and disappointed. The biggest issue was the noise throughout the night. The doors were extremely heavy and were almost impossible to close without them slamming, and I was repeatedly woken by doors from other apartments. I could also clearly hear the occupants above walking around and talking throughout the night. Having raised this with the hotel, I was told the doors are fire safety doors and that the night team patrols the hotel to monitor disturbances. However, it actually appeared that some of the disturbance was caused by the night patrol team themselves, as the noise and repeated opening and closing of doors continued throughout the night. I understand fire doors are necessary, but I have stayed in many other hotels with fire doors and have never experienced this level of noise. This suggests that the quality or closing mechanism of the doors needs reviewing. The bed was also very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep even when it was quiet. I was also disappointed that the TVs did not offer access to common streaming services such as Netflix. I appreciate that the hotel may have its own data-protection and technical considerations, but I was surprised by the explanation that GDPR prevents guests from using streaming services, particularly as many hotels now provide secure guest streaming or casting facilities. Overall, the combination of noise and an uncomfortable bed significantly affected what should have been a special birthday stay. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.
“Money grabbing approach”
This hotel has an Ethos of pay extra for every thing. So the prices you see for instance Booking.com are tge base price and then add add add for breakfast, change towels, a view, swim cleaning etc If certain facilities are advertised they should be available without extortionate rates eg swimming per person Breakfast £15 pp and a lake view £60 per night per apartment

“Not great value for money”
Easy and straightfoward booking process. Guest reservation were responsive to our request for a cot to be installed for our toddler which was actioned. Great location in Cotswold water park; lots of amenities and cafes nearby Quick and easy key collection on the day. No issues with parking or EV charging points Spacious 2-bedroom apartment. Pretty decent spa, nothing amazing though
The apartments are rather dated and in urgent need of modernising. No smart TV at all in the premises which ought to be standard for a nightly rate of £250. Sofa cushion foams felt completely worn out felt as if I was going to go through the sofa. Lighting in the bedrooms is very poorly designed with no main overhead light just a few scattered lamps . completely impossible to light the room properly to get dressed! Bathrooms need modernising Overall i felt this is a dated product set in a great location but does not represent value for money in a competitive market
