Staff’s hospitality, rooms were comfortable and clean! One of the best hotels we have stayed at.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'hotel, la gentillesse du personnel et l'ambiance générale qui y règne. Un bémol cependant avec le petit déjeuner qui n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur d'un hotel de cette catégorie. Pancakes trop cuits, viennoiseries pas terribles, tout est sur la table quand nous arrivons y compris la charcuterie et le fromage

“Lovely hotel, with plenty of included amenities and in a good location”
The hotel is in a good location and we loved the free walking tours and free afternoon tastings of port and pastries organised by the hotel. The historical aspects of the hotel were a great bonus.
It is a shame there is no pool. The spa facilities were okay.
