“Bed bugs”
The view.
Got in with in a 1hr of sitting on bed felt like something bit me and didn’t see anything at first. Went to pull up the blanket to lay down. Noticed something small on the white blanket, looked closer and it was a bug crawling. It looked like a bed bug. Contacted the front desk and they quickly came to inspect it. They wanted to move us but I did not want to sleep there after seeing a live bed crawling on the bed. Was told they would have their experts check the room, and let me know of results. We checked out and were not charged, and they accommodated the meal we ordered as a good will he said. Unfortunately it was almost midnight and we had to spend 2x the amount for an Airbnb. When I asked if they have had bed bud problems the guy said they typically don’t, which to me is a proper way of saying yes. The “expert” sent an email stating that they did an investigation which they tested negative for bed bugs. The expert was the executive housekeeper. Not sure of her expertise so I can not comment on the testing they did. I will say though there was definitely some type of bug crawling in the bed. So think twice or check closely. Also parking was very confusing,
