“Not as described.”
Could not stay here, took one look and left. The property was not as described and was in addition actually dirty. This is far from a three star property. Specifically we booked a studio apartment as we wanted an oven and kitchenware for meal prep. Neither was present even though an oven is clearly shown in the website description. The apartment cupboard door was broken, there were hairs in the bed, stains on the radiator and on the walls, gum stuck on a wall.

There is a £200 damage deposit which is ironic given the condition I found the property in and if you don’t send this they won’t provide the code for the key. Furthermore, even after sending this they didn’t send the code themselves and I had to chase them for it showing poor communication. Upon moving in, the following were missing: kitchen bin, oven rack, dish rack, clothes rack, cooking utensils, not enough pots and pans and these were also partly rusted, bathroom mirror, vacuum cleaner and dust pan and brush. The toilet seat was dirty and the oven and extractor fan were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since being installed. The extractor fan light also didn’t work. Furthermore, the microwave was completely destroyed with rust everywhere flaking off making it dangerous and unhygienic to use. The blinds were missing several slats and the lack of curtains meant there wasn’t sufficient privacy or light blocking at night. They resolved half the issues but only on the Monday even though I moved in on Saturday. The utensils given were still not enough e.g. no grater and of the lowest quality. They didn’t fix the other half of things even after calling and sending multiple chasers and I had left before they resolved the rest. Everything in the listing should have already been supplied/fixed upon moving without me having to say anything as I paid for those things for the full duration of my stay. Not for half the things to show up half way. The guest shouldn’t have to report basic inventory items missing/damaged. Avoid this place it’s not worth it. They don’t do a complete inventory or damage check, don’t properly clean the place and there’s poor communication. It should be removed from booking.com as it violates the website’s terms and conditions for a guest property as it’s not as described.
