“convenient and great for an overnight stay to catch an early morning flight”
very convenient location near the airport. accessible by a walkway to the hotel. plenty of eateries around from the spitfire square. I was there for only 1 night - in fact for less than 12 hours. But the breakfast the next morning was very simple for a 4.5 star hotel, but it did the job of getting you fed before your early morning flight.
check in area was a bit crowded when I was there. it felt like an airport. the actual check in process was pleasant but the queue for your turn was so chaotic with people trying to sneakily cut queue, big luggage just been left in the queue, large group leaving and coming back to the queue and somehow expected to return to their original queue spot, and some even just sneakily walked up to the reception without queueing and even tried to overtake the guests that were been checked in at the time etc. Reception staff were all busy with check in and there was no one overseeing to make sure the queue was orderly. Even though there was a queue but it felt like a 1st come 1st served basis and that was what I did. After observing for a while, I picked up my courage and just marched towards the next available receptionist for my check in. Had I not done that, I wasn't sure how long I would have to wait for my turn. Others in the queue were doing the same too.
