The Langham Boston is a beautiful hotel, very well located, with an elegant atmosphere and excellent surroundings.
Unfortunately, the soundproofing of the rooms is a major issue. I could hear every conversation and movement in the hallway so clearly that it genuinely felt as though people were inside my room. For a hotel of this category and price level, this is simply not acceptable. A lovely property overall, but the lack of proper sound insulation seriously affected the comfort of the stay. Quite frankly, it was a disaster.
