The location of this hotel is unbeatableβbeing right next to Kyoto Station and Porta made getting around the city, shopping, and dining incredibly convenient. We also loved how quiet the room was, and the nice, comfortable bed guaranteed a sound sleep every night. Combined with the courteous staff and impeccably tidy lounge, it made for a perfect stay!
Right next to the Kyoto station, so it was very convinient for moving around. Our room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful when we had trouble using the air conditioning (it was all in japanese, so we did not know how to use it). Would totally stay there again! :)

Very close to Kyoto Station, reasonably priced, and with a sufficiently spacious room. All necessary amenities. Free access to a lounge with coffee (moderate taste), tea, and juice. Easy access to numerous good restaurants in the station building.
The window directly faced another building, so there was no view, nor any possibility to open it.
