“We had to leave on the first night - do not recommend”
Nothing, perhaps the location
The photos did not look like the real thing. We got there and the whole room smelt like cigarettes, the walls and floor was stained and the window would not open, the bed was rock hard and the shower was see through glass, so anyone in the bedroom could see the person showering. I asked the hotel if I could pay for an upgrade upon seeing this, they said no. I went back to the room, looked at other hotels and went back to ask for a refund, they then offered us an upgrade. This “upgrade” was a slightly bigger room with a brighter colour scheme, but unfortunately the floor/carpet was still stained, it smelt like damp/mildew and the walls (specifically around the air con) was mouldy. We booked a new hotel and left the same night, paying the cancellation fee. I really do not understand the other positive reviews, the location is the only thing good about this place. We replaced a 1 dingy looking room for a 1 bedroom 2 floor apartment that was CHEAPER and only 2km away from this
