The food was exceptional. The staff was so helpful and kind. The property was beautiful. It was all amazing. We also had the concierge take us on a 4.5 hour hike that challenging, but so worth the views!
Honesty, it was all great. We stayed in Kathmandu for three days and then came to Pokhura for three day and it was so nice. The property was clean and the food was great.

Our stay at The Pavilions Himalayas Lake View was truly special. It is an amazing place to slow down, relax, and soak in nature. The entire property has such a calm and peaceful vibe that it instantly feels like home. The hospitality was exceptional. The staff (Ambika, Iman, the chef, the security guards, the cleaning staff) are absolute gems — always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. We were traveling with my 70-year-old mother who has difficulty climbing steps, and the team was incredibly supportive throughout our stay. The security guards patiently helped and supported her on the steps every single time, which we genuinely appreciated. Reaching the property involves a short boat ride followed by a small uphill walk with steps, but we actually loved that part too as it was so peaceful and calm; kids loved watching the birds, the fishermen/women along the way. The food was the key highlight. Everything was freshly prepared on demand using fresh ingredients, and every meal felt full of care and love, like home-cooked food. We overate nearly every day but never once felt heavy or unwell because the food was so fresh and wholesome.
Would absolutely love to come back again. One small suggestion: adding experiences like massages (may be mobile ones), cooking classes, bonfires, or music evenings would make the stay even more memorable.
