“Great location..sadly hotel not big on service”
Location amazing but sadly I got the feeling they feed off it. Great as hop on/off bus all stop out front.
Hotel is fairly run down. We booked a one bedroom with kitchen as we were there for 7 days. Our beds were never made...they just pulled up covers. Sheets never changed. Towels were replaced daily & we paid full tariff. Kitchen floor was sticky & dirty. When we brought it to staff attention...with a cloth we used to wipe floor!!... they sent staff to clean it... The air conditioner unit on balcony was covered in bird crap & glass had not been cleaned since who knows!!! During our stay someone was in the next room & their air con wasnt working. The electrician/handyman came into our room as they used our compressor.. I mentioned the disgusting state of the balcony only to be told "well they are upgrading but it takes time"... What??? They can't clean in the interim?? I asked 3 times for a spatula or egg flip...not knowing what Canadians call it...nothing ever turned up! Bathroom was the size of a broom cupboard. The one wardrobe was in hallway Shower pressure was low as most of the water kept running into bath Oven door was filthy.. not cleaned at all! I didnt feel it was worth the price.. the hotel is just charging for location. Next time I will use airbnb & stay in an apartment for half the price.
