Extremely Disappointing Stay โ Poor Hygiene, Terrible Sleep, and Misleading Promises I rarely leave reviews this negative, but our experience at Crowne Plaza Dubai Deira was unacceptable, especially for a hotel that presents itself as an upscale establishment. 1. Cleanliness was below acceptable standards. The carpets were dirty, which immediately raised concerns about the hotel's overall maintenance and attention to basic hygiene. 2. Disorganised staff and serious communication problems. The staff seemed poorly coordinated, and communication between team members was clearly lacking. To make matters worse, some employees struggled to communicate in basic English, making even simple requests unnecessarily frustrating. 3. Misleading promises about vegan food. Before our stay, I was explicitly assured that vegan options would be available at breakfast and during happy hour. In reality, the so-called options were essentially limited to fruit, hash browns, and baked potatoes. This is not a reasonable selection of vegan meals, especially at a hotel claiming to accommodate different dietary requirements. It is particularly disappointing to be promised something in advance only to discover that the hotel cannot properly deliver it. 4. Extremely uncomfortable beds and pillows. The mattresses and pillows were so uncomfortable that all three of us experienced back and neck pain during our stay. A hotel should, at the very least, provide a comfortable night's sleep. Crowne Plaza Deira failed even at this most basic expectation. 5. No possibility of a decent night's sleep. The air conditioning was excessively loud. Keeping it running meant dealing with constant noise, while switching it off made the room unbearably hot. We were effectively forced to choose between noise and heat, making proper sleep almost impossible. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had.

The hotel is well located with multiple means of transport within reach. The rooms are very clean and breakfast is well arranged. The hotel has most needed facilities and staffs are very professional.
