“Recommended not least for convenience of location”
Very close to central station, literally across the square with central bus/tram stops in front of it although most of interest is in walking distance say 10-20 mins at most. If you face the street and/or tram stops, rooms are sound proofed. Try asking for Rm 253 on the front corner, it is huge and overlooks the square. Unusually reception etc. are on the sixth ie. top floor with the rooms underneath. Do not worry about folk wandering in off the street, they cannot access them without a resident's swipe card. As well as main station the shopping centre and many historical sights plus the main channel of the Weser etc. are all within walking distance but ask for a free map on booking in. Will help with orientation.
Across the way, as with around many major railway stations, an interesting assortment of street life seems to be attracted. Should not be a problem, at most an occasional opportunistic beggar. Police seem proactive and are always somewhere close. Do not get hyper, German drunks. drug users and drifters etc. are not a threat and, unfortunately, tend ot congregate around major rail stations.
