βA Historic Ritz Experience in the Heart of Montrealβ
What an amazing stay at The Ritz-Carlton Montreal. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely fantastic and made the entire experience feel special. What really sets this Ritz apart is its character. This isnβt the sleek, modern Ritz-Carlton experience you find in many cities today. The hotel embraces its history, with beautiful architecture, classic dΓ©cor, and little pieces of the past throughout the property. Seeing the famous phone booth connected to the first transcontinental telephone call was such a unique touch, and knowing this was the first hotel in North America to carry the Ritz-Carlton name makes staying here feel like experiencing a piece of history. The location is also nearly perfect. It somehow feels quiet, private, and secluded while still being right in the heart of Montreal and within walking distance of so much. Afternoon tea was another highlight of our stay. The entire experience was beautifully done, and the desserts were especially incredible. It was elegant without feeling overly formal and was one of those experiences that genuinely added something memorable to the trip. Between the history, incredible staff, beautiful property, afternoon tea, and outstanding location, this was much more than simply a luxury hotel stay. The Ritz-Carlton Montreal has a personality and sense of place that many newer luxury hotels simply canβt replicate.
