The room was fantastic, well proportioned and thought out, nice extra luxurious touches such a complimentary water, crisps and teas, and a pod coffee machine. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower and lots towels as well as a robe and slippers. There was also very little noise and the AC was excellent. The staff were all very helpful, polite and attentive.
We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was very poor. The menu appears high end but it’s clear from the lack of diners that the majority of food is frozen. One person in our party had the peach and burrata salad, which was made using tinned peaches. I had a burger which was tasteless and not good quality. There was issues with all the starters we had, even the chips tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. The best thing was the cheese board at the end of the meal. There was also issues with the wine list as they were changing it so many options on the menu were not available. Breakfast the next day was better. The staff were brilliant and very helpful and attentive.

We had the loveliest time. The staff were absolutely lovely. You really got the feeling everyone was enjoying working at the Orel We felt so welcome on arrival. The breakfast was superb. This will defo be where we stay when we visit our daughter at uni over the next three years. Wonderful !!!
