“It’s ok”
It’s ok. Nothing extraordinary. Service was hit and miss yet Eduardo the bartender at the lobby bar was great! Bartender Jesus was great as well. Frida was the best out of all 3 à la carte. Waiters were exceptional!!! Buffet was ok. Slow staff. Sand at beach was great but water was weedy. Entertainment was ok, not a lot of it.
“Not a resort up to standard”
When i arrived and walked into the room, i realized it was not what i thought a resort should be. All the linens and towels were dingy,the floor was dirty, the sink would drain very slowly, no coffee stirrers, no creamer, they don’t provide creamer. The refrigerator only had 2 cokes, 2 beers. The food wasn’t very good and it was the same most days. Very, very small beach front, but filled with seaweed, could not swim. Pool is very small. Very little entertainment, all in Spanish! Would not recommend!
“Cancun 2026”
First time traveling to Cancun. Ocean Spa did not disappointed, it’s an older hotel but the rooms and grounds were very clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Our waiters Pedro, Manuel and Santos were awesome! Always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Fernando our bartender was an excellent bartender and friendly. We enjoyed his service and professionalism
