Room was big and bed was comfortable. Facilities were good, and it was nice to have robe and slippers available. The complimentary drinks in the fridge was also a great touch. Breakfast was good.
Lighting in the room could have been better. It was perfect in the evening when relaxing, but in the morning needing more light to get ready the room was dark. The evening food was terrible, I am sorry to say. I ordered an egg mayo and watercress sandwich and a baked potato with cheese. The sandwich didn’t have watercress, but wilted iceberg lettuce. The egg mayo was very grainy and only the smallest amount of egg inside. The potato was so badly cooked. It was simultaneously wet (overcooked), and had a grainy texture. The cheese was congealed, and overall the taste was very bad.
