Locatie is top. Fijne, gezellige en mooie kamers. Ruim en schoon.
Voor een 5 sterrenhotel was er teveel niet in orde. Van de 4 liften werkte er 1. Dat was al dagen zo en uit de voorgaande recensies blijkt dat dit geen incident was. Er zijn 30 verdiepingen dus dat leverde nogal wat vertraging en frustratie op. De ongeïnteresseerde houding van het personeel viel ons echt tegen. Dan wordt zo’n ongemak eigenlijk onnodig nog irritanter. We hadden bij het boeken extra betaald voor ‘toegang tot de club’. Toen we bij het inchecken hiernaar informeerden was de reactie: “Oh dat doen we niet meer”. Toen ik vroeg waar ik dan extra voor betaald had zei de receptionist: “Je hebt er niet extra voor betaald”. Gelukkig kon ik dat wel aantonen met de boekingsinformatie. maar er werd ook geen oplossing geboden. Tip: verwijder de champagneautomaat in de lobby en zorg dat de basis op orde is.
