“FABULOUS”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fabulous – A Beautiful Experience! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Leela Kovalam. From the moment we arrived, everything felt beautiful, peaceful and luxurious. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views of the Arabian Sea, beautiful surroundings and such a relaxing atmosphere. The resort was very well maintained, clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The hospitality really made a difference — we felt looked after and genuinely enjoyed our time there. The views were definitely one of the highlights for me. Waking up surrounded by the sea, greenery and the sound of the waves was just magical. The pool and resort grounds were gorgeous, and it was the perfect place to relax and switch off. The food was also lovely, with plenty of choice and a beautiful setting to enjoy it in. Overall, The Leela Kovalam gave us exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for in Kerala — beautiful scenery, excellent hospitality, comfort and a true luxury resort feeling. I would happily stay here again and have no hesitation recommending it. A fabulous and memorable stay! ❤️🌴🌊
I absolutely loved the location and the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The whole resort felt beautiful, peaceful, clean and luxurious. The grounds were very well maintained, the pool area was gorgeous, and the sound and view of the sea made it incredibly relaxing. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the overall hospitality was excellent. It was exactly the kind of beautiful Kerala resort experience I was looking for. 🌴🌊❤️
Our stay at The Leela Kovalam was a mixed experience. We booked two Club Suites to celebrate our Dad’s 75th birthday, but arrived to find name cards belonging to other guests in our rooms, which was very disappointing and made us feel the rooms had been reassigned at the last minute. When asked why the name cards didn’t have our name they didn't feel the need to explain. The service was also below expectations, our room cards werent working and we had to get it changed twice. Rahul, the butler assigned to both the club suites seemed eager to finish his shift and leave without ensuring our requests were taken care of. I mean why would you assign a butler if they are not going to be of any help? Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was our birthday dinner at Tides. We had asked for a buggy to take 6 of us and a guest from the event that evening climbed into our buggy and the staff didnt say anything. When we told that we were going for dinner and the buggy only has space for us 6, they didnt care. The dinner was a disaster as my son became seriously unwell with vomiting and a stomach bug that night, and we struggled to get assistance when we needed it. Thankfully, we had homeo medication with us which helped and he didn't get hospitalised. On the positive side, the Club rooms and food at the Club Café were excellent, and the spa was outstanding. The spa team were warm, attentive and took wonderful care of us. Also the birthday cake they arranged during dinner was perfect. Had it not been for our son falling ill, and the service being mediocre, the stay could have been a better experience. Sadly, that experience overshadowed what otherwise had many positives. When we pay so much for a resort such as yours we expected an exceptional service and experience. Unfortunately, we wont be back!
