Ansehnliche Auffahrt zum Hotel, ausreichend Parkplätze. Bar, Lobby wie im typischen alten schottischen Herrensitz. Vermittelt einem wirklich das Gefühl in andere Zeiten zurückversetzt zu sein.
Muffiges Zimmer mit Spinnweben an Fenstern und Spinnen in den Gardinen. Sitzflächen definitiv renovierungsbedürftig wie das gesamte Zimmer. Bett mit spürbaren Federn der Matratze. Wir waren auch Durchreise, würden es aber selbst dafür nicht noch einmal wählen. Frühstück enttäuschend…kein Käse, keine Wurst, warme Speisen im schottischen Stil vorhanden. Keine frischen zubereiteten Eierspeisen. Lüftung im Bad lässt einen den Atem anhalten, so verschmutzt.

Thought £10 for glass of wine expensive. Hotel looking bit tired. Bed was to soft. Ordered soup was tastie but not hot 🙈
