“Rooms with a View”
Beautiful location, with rooms overlooking the sea which was stunning especially as we had snow on our recent visit. For the price paid I felt it was OK with regards to value and it was spotlessly clean although I wish the cleaner would not start hoovering at 7am in the morning. Noise level was fine although the hotel was not busy as its winter season. Reception Service was great, very helpful ordering us taxi's and helping us with various situation. Amenities were satisfactory, nothing special. Restaurant Service was again ok, breakfast ok and it was closed of the evening which we were not told when we booked which was disappointing.
“Disappointing stay – poor service and lack of information”
We had been up since 4:00 in the morning, driving a long way and taking the ferry from Larvik to Hirtshals. By the time we arrived at the hotel we were exhausted, hungry, and tired. The restaurant was dark and empty, with a sign saying it was fully booked. Reception explained this was due to staff illness – but why not arrange a substitute? Instead, we were handed a yellow slip with “Just Eat” and “Wolt.” We tried to find a restaurant in town with parking but failed, and eventually had to order food through Wolt. Parking became another problem: we paid about 124 DKK for 24 hours via EasyPark. When checking out at 11:00 the next day, we tried to stop the parking but couldn’t – we were charged for five days. The hotel had not informed us about this, which we found very poor service. Overall, our stay was marked by lack of help from reception, no food available at the hotel, and unpredictable parking costs. We had expected better service, information, and flexibility from a hotel in this price range.

The rooms was very good, and the service was great. I enjoyed the food at their restaurant and the view from the room was amazing
