Good memory
Would not visit again if it were not for the good memories I had here before the 2020 renovation. I was assigned a room on Level 7, which was very disappointing. The rooms on Level 7 were originally servants' rooms, and if you are spending over $200 a night, you should not be staying in what feels like a servant's room. The room is advertised as 17 square metres, but it certainly does not feel that size because of the sloping attic ceiling. The lift only goes to Level 5, so you have to walk up to Level 7 via Level 6. The lift is also unavailable after 8 pm. A staff member knocked on my door despite me pressing the "Do Not Disturb" button, and then said he had gone to the wrong room. It is a beautiful historic building and I have good memories of staying here, but unfortunately the service and room experience were not particularly good this time.
