“Certainly not worth $477 for two nights.”
It was near the Cairns Esplanade and had parking nearby.
The hotel car park and gardens were filled with Aboriginal people drinking and fighting. Furthermore, a painter was working on an elevated platform, painting my balcony. The strong paint smell and invasion of privacy made it impossible to enjoy my balcony. The high-speed internet was also faulty, and the air conditioning in my hotel room was inadequate. I raised these issues with the on-site staff, but they did not seem interested in resolving them. The bathroom was filthy, and the bottom of the bathtub had missing tiles. The bed also had long strands of black hair on the sheets, which were clearly not changed since the previous guest.

Good price. Clean and tidy rooms. Comfortable beds.
The breakfast!!! Small area for breakfast. Not enough variety. Sometimes the food is not present you have to remind them to fill it up or bring more eggs for example. They don’t have enough staff at the breakfast area. You have to wait at the desk to get a table and no one is there to assign you the table. After a while a lady from the kitchen comes out. If you call yourself a 4- Star Hotel then you cannot have such facilities. So improvements needed please!
