“Basic, nice location typical old hotel just in right place nothing more”

Staff - called x 3 times to make an arrangement had to even email them inly to get a call the next day terrible luckily no-one was hurt or something and you needed assistance !

“Shocking levels of cleanliness”
Reception staff were friendly and apologetic for the issue was had regarding room cleanliness but management were far less concerned in their response when I had to email.
The state of the room was genuinely shocking! There’d clearly been a party we stayed and it had not been cleaned at all. If not for weeks! There are multiple broken items and holes in the walls, stains on all furniture, furniture was ripped and torn, floor was sticky with stains. In the morning we even discovered some form of sticky liquid dripping from the bedside table. I tried getting a different hotel but due to the late time and my mum requiring wheelchair access it was impossible. I flagged with reception in the morning. They did apologise when I showed the photos but advised me I'd need to email management if i wanted any type of refund. Was not worth $530 a night! The manager replied to my email and tried offering a voucher. They would only offer a 20% refund stating "the offer I have put forward reflects our management teams assessment of the situation and is the maximum that we are prepared to offer". Even with a good view. For what is supposedly a very nice venue, I was genuinely appalled by the state of the room and the lack of care from management regarding it.

The pool was great. Our bed was comfortable
The couch in our room was disgusting, dirty marks all over it. The reception lady was a bit rude. Doesn’t hurt to smile and be nice
