“Disappointed for poor communication”
Near to facilities and easy walking distance to shops and some tourist places. Buses is free so easy to get around.
Not properly communicated re checking out procedure and housekeeping staff only starting at 9.30 am. We had arranged for earlier transport for 9.30, as we liked our cash deposit before leaving but was delayed. We had an argumentative senior staff and was told to be patience. I was just trying to let them know that there should be someone around to check the depature room at anytime not waiting for morning staff to come on. I was disappointed at that treatment when it was a pleasant enough stay. It should have been more diplomatic .
“Great location and spacious unit.”
This property was in a great location. Walk to esplanade and Crocosaurus. Easy drive to most sites. Woolworths next door and lots of eating options available. The apartment was great and room service everyday was a bonus. There was a pool but the sails were missing so too hot to access most of the day. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Did not like that the elevator and the corridors had no airconditioning or fans and were stuffy and hot. We paid extra for car parking but safety issue having to get out and tap to open garage door. No remote controls offered. Our apartment was facing Woolworths loading dock so very noisy when trucks came in early. The cleaners need to change the cleaning agent they use because it stinks the unit after they leave. They take a damage deposit but when you walk into the apartment furniture is already damaged. Took photos and went to reception. Amazed they had no idea and had to record it.
The were extremely courteous, welcoming and efficient. I'd like to mention Sherly Wijaya who went out of her way to attempt to resolve the problem with internet connectivity that I experienced.
The poor internet connectivity. I was in Darwin on work. It was extremely important to have access to an efficient internet connection. Having been allotted a corner room, the internet connectivity left much to be desired. Sherly Wijaya did give me an extender. The extender did not help to the extent expected. As a result, I had to go down to the reception a few times to do my work without interruption.
