The hotel was in a quiet location surrounded by parkland and footpath to the Dickson shops and restaurant precinct. There is a lovely cafe next to the hotel called Stepping Stones. It serves delicious vegetarian food and coffee. The accommodation was spacious with a sitting room, bedroom and well-equipped kitchenette. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we had a balcony on the ground floor. There is an indoor pool but I ran out of time and was unable to use it or the gym.
The room was not serviced by housekeeping on the weekend which meant your kitchen waste was not cleared till Monday. We were there at a busy time (Floriade) and had to wait for clean bath towels and the room had not been serviced by the early afternoon. I am guessing that housekeeping staff were busy cleaning the rooms of guests who had left, in preparation for guests who were arriving that afternoon. The bathroom fittings were a little tired and the taps were stiff to turn on and off. They also leaked on occasion. The tap mixer in the kitchen was either too strong or let out little water.

Location. Staff at front desk lovely.
Cleaning staff hopeless. Stayed 6 nights, never changed the sheets. Had to ask for the carpet to be vacuumed. No Cleaning on a Sunday. Lumpy sofa, uncomfortable mattress.
