βRacist treatment at Park Plaza by Radissonβ
Very near london eye and other attractions.
1. The property prioritizes their club members more than other clients. 2. Very racist. They go out of their way to entertain white clients and will have conversations, ask about their day etc etc etc but a black person gets treated very differently. You donβt exist. 3. We arrived at 9 am and were told no room was ready. Thatβs okay. We stored our bags and came back at 6 pm. Despite arriving earlier we had no rooms ready yet β club membersβ who were mostly white kept walking in and going to their rooms. We were given one room and we got all our bags in there whilst we waited for the other room. Everyone was tired after a 16 hr long flight. 12 hrs after we set foot into the hotel and announced ourselves ( at 9 pm ) we were still not accommodated for what we paid for. The receptionists kept on going to the back office to speak to the manager who never once came out to acknowledge us. We were travelling with kids and so we requested rooms next to each other but that did not happen. I finally demanded the manager to come out and even that was like i was asking to speak to his Majesty the King of England. He said he can only give us rooms on separate floors and would change the next day. He couldnβt explain why our rooms were not ready even though we arrived at 9 am and they had our bags the whole day. The manager on the 31st said he would get our rooms close to each other on the first. That did not happen till we checked out. We finally got into our rooms at 10 pm. I have never received such racist treatment when travelling. I are used to it as black people but didnβt see this one coming and i am extremely disappointed by the Park Plaza Hotelβs subsequent handling of this mess.
