Historic hotel, Small but very personalised. I think each of their rooms is a little different. Pool area has comfortable sun loungers. Excellent location for the old town. Staff extremely helpful. The old town has limited access for vehicles, but they have a few golf style buggies and they dropped us at our pick up point for the transfer home.
Pool bar could have been open more. Room allocation wasn't great on arrival. Food choices at breakfast could have been better. Omelette/ egg station chef was very slow
Helpful staff. Great location
I think they over booked? Was allocated a standard room when paid for a deluxe.
βBeautiful, Spacious Suite and Exceptional Hospitality, but Disappointing Infrastructureβ
Alp PaΕa is a stunning historic property with beautiful architecture, charming surroundings, and a wonderful atmosphere. Our suite was exceptionally spacious, beautifully furnished, and impeccably clean. It was a genuinely lovely place to relax, and the quality and size of the accommodations were among the highlights of our stay. The housekeeping was absolutely outstanding. Our room attendant was incredibly kind, attentive, and thorough, maintaining our large suite beautifully every day. She consistently checked whether we needed anything additional and demonstrated genuine care that went well beyond simply cleaning the room. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality were greatly appreciated. Ezgi, the Guest Services Manager, deserves extraordinary recognition. She was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay, checking in with us every single day to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, and were enjoying our experience. She consistently asked whether there was anything more she could possibly do to make us happy. Her warmth, thoughtfulness, and genuine dedication to guest satisfaction were remarkable. She made us feel personally welcomed and valued rather than simply being another occupied room. Ezgi truly embodies exceptional hospitality and is an invaluable asset to the hotel. The restaurant manager also deserves special recognition for his kindness, graciousness, and welcoming hospitality. He helped create a warm and enjoyable dining atmosphere. Mehmet, our server, was equally wonderful, demonstrating genuine friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism. Both contributed significantly to the positive aspects of our stay.
Unfortunately, the hotel's infrastructure and certain operational standards do not match the quality of its accommodations or its exceptional employees. The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable and repeatedly disconnected throughout our stay. The front desk was neither responsive nor particularly helpful when the issue was raised. I was even asked whether I could use my personal mobile hotspot, despite the considerable expense of international data. This is not an acceptable solution for guests staying at a hotel of this caliber. The television in our suite also did not turn on, which was particularly disappointing given how beautiful and comfortable the room was. We genuinely wanted to spend time enjoying our spacious suite, and basic amenities such as reliable internet and a functioning television should be standard. The breakfast area is also far too small for the number of guests the hotel accommodates. The property is consistently busy, yet its dining facilities seem inadequate for its capacity. Considering the hotel's continued expansion over the years, it is disappointing that the same level of investment does not appear to have been made in its technology, guest facilities, and operational infrastructure. Historic charm should not be an excuse for inadequate amenities or poor maintenance. Alp PaΕa is a beautiful hotel with some truly extraordinary employees, particularly Ezgi, the restaurant manager, Mehmet, and our wonderful room attendant. Their dedication and hospitality deserve recognition. I sincerely hope ownership makes the necessary improvements so that the overall guest experience matches the beauty of the property and the exceptional service provided by these outstanding individuals.
