My room had all the facilities I expected. Charmingly decorated in the Italian style. Breakfast was buffet style and had a wide selection.

Fantastic location, the staff on reception were brilliant, breakfast was a little disappointing but I'd still recommend the hotel.
Breakfast - the breads were very poor, other aspects were generally fine but the hot breakfast was disappointing. However, cereals, fruits, pastries and yoghurts were all excellent as was the coffee!
The staff was very friendly and the structure was charming and full of character. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a suite upgrade, which was communicated to us as soon as we arrived.
The property has a lot of potential. Modernizing a few details could make a significant difference to the experience. Adding some smart tvs, offering a little more variety in the minibar, and updating the rooms in general would be terrific. Personally I found it a little unusual that the suit didn't have a balcony or more traditionally sized windows, as the windows were quite small and positioned high up on the wall. The only real downside was the difficulty of finding parking nearby, which can be inconvenient if you are traveling by car.
