“Perfect location, close to the beach and tram”
Beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. The apartment had everything I needed. The pool area was lovely and it was a bonus having a cafe downstairs beside the pool. The staff were also very friendly.
The bed was a little bit firm
“Disappointing: Facilities closed and no alternative offered”
The indoor pool, sauna and gym were all closed for renovation as was the entrance at one side of the street. Apparently this has been the case for a couple of years?? When I booked and when I checked in this wasn’t mentioned. I asked if they had an affiliate gym/sauna/indoor pool agreement or any alternative nearby as it was a key part of the reason I booked our holiday there and we had each day planned out. There was no alternative. We actually brought the end of our trip forward as a result of our plans all changing on this. The hotel has continued to ignore my requests for a partial refund.
Good location, room size was also good
Room is in need of an update, bathroom and kitchen area showing their age. Early check in had been requested but due to being fully booked this could not be accommodated which was fine but despite 2pm check in we did not get into room until 2:45pm.
