“Fantastic staff but the hotel quality has gone down.”
This was our second stay in Royal Paradise. We had chosen to pay extra this time to stay high up to enjoy the wiew. That was a mistake. Our room on 17th floor and we were welcomed by the fantastic staff we remembered from the previous stay. That has'nt changed. No matter if it was the cleaning lady or the manager we felt they appriciated our stay and went that extra mile to make us feel welcome. However we can not reccomend this hotel after our latest stay, because: The noise from the nearby gay clubs is extreeme. The first show starts at 10 pm. an the last one starts at 1 pm. The music was very loud and staying in a room where the windows could'nt close and had to be tightened with ducktape to keep the noise out spoiled our sleep every night. Just for the record - we have nothing against gay people. Only the loud shows that kept us awake. The traffic also kept us awake. The hospital is very close and ambulances kept coming with the loud sirens all night. The TV was the size of our computer monitor at home and a terrible quality. At the pool we were alloved 1 towel per person for the sun beds. With all the sun beds on the upper pool being plastic they could only cover half and plastic gets very warm. This could be expected on a 2 star hotel but not a 3/4 star- Breakfast was good as we remembered it from our previous stay. So what kept this hotel up was the staff and definately not the hotel quality. So unfortunately our next year stay in Patong (7 times here) will not be at Royal Paradise.
“Good location”
Nice enough hotel but pricey for what it was. Great location close to drag show club and Zag- just across road. Reasonable Chinese restaurant on 25th floor of main hotel with good breakfasts there on 2nd floor. We were in the Royal wing and design quite strange and dangerous as beds on a ramp in the room. We all had shin injuries after 4 nights- stupid design!
“BE CAREFUL - very bad safety risks and overcharging!”
Massively over priced! As soon as I arrived I asked to cancel and my room and the hotel is extremely dated! There are no charging points near the bed! When you turn your lights off to go to sleep the sockets in your room turn off. The electrics would fl pier and sounded dangerous. Black mould in the bathroom too! Dirty windows all over. Missing light covers in the elevators. WORST OF ALL THERE WAS A SINKHOLE on the roof bar terrace in the floor! It was two inches deep and had not been corded off!! This is dangerous! The hotel staff would not help me, pretended not to understand what I meant even when I converted English to thai. The room cost me £1428.09 ENGLISH pounds for 3 nights! It was worth half of that! It is actually advertised now as half of that price. I would only recommend staying here if your ok with you Safety being put at risk! And if the amount your charged before you stay is less that £250 a night! Otherwise it is a risk to safety and it is Massively over priced! I tried to upload pictures of the sky bar floor that is falling through one meter wide and two inches deep! It wouldn’t let me but I will try again, as This is so unsafe! They do not have ISO 9001 or meet the regulations. They lied they refused To show me the recent certificate .
“A Pleasant Stay at Royal Paradise with Weak Internet Connection”
We had a pleasant stay at The Royal Paradise Hotel. Upsides: • The hotel offered beautiful views, and we enjoyed our partial sea view room. • The location was great, providing easy access to nearby attractions. • The breakfast was good, and the pool was great. Downsides: • The Wi-Fi was very weak, and we had to rely on our own SIM card for internet access. • The walls were quite thin, so we could hear noise from neighboring rooms. • At checkout, the hotel was so full that even with an additional fee, we couldn’t extend our stay.

Lost an item in room 1409 checking out on 17.11.25 A small little bag or transparent pouch of thai mantra picture with Wat Phra Thong buddha half body buddha in front.
