Beautiful area very tropical, lovely large clean pool with plenty of sunbeds. Had one meal in the restaurant, nicely presented but not up to standard.
The staff were helpful, room was clean and spacious, swimming pool and resort amenities were pleasant and the breakfast was wonderful. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend it.

The mangement of this hotel is obviuosly penny pinching, 500Baht deposit for room key, list of cost of replaccement items if broken pasted on room door, breakfast tickets issued daily for breakfast, hugely expensive restaurant and drinks. Wifi password for only 1 device per room. Otherwise good place - lovely pool set in jungle garden,comfortable rooms, breakfast good but dining room very hot and stuffy. Hired a car for three days to get around the area (White temple, blue temple, black house, tea plantation and golden triangle etc) and to get into the town which was quite a way in the exreme heat,

Laluna is an amazing hotel some 10 min tuktuk ride south from downtown Chiang Rai. Hotel grounds are located within jungle like lush greenery. Accommodation is in small bungalows, very cute and pretty spacious. Highlight is a pretty big pool, so relaxing after all day exploring. Breakfast was very good served in the building next door.
