The hotel has a lot of problems indeed, but I felt they are trying.. clean white towels, toilet paper, shampoo and soap, clean white bed sheets. I even inspected for bedbugs and found none. I did spot a few cockroaches in the hotel, but not inside the room itself. It's more of an art and history gallery than an actual hotel
The hotel is art deco style, built around 1920's and it has been kept in good shape, fantastic decoration, and is clean. It is managed by a nice family and attention is personal. I stayed here for a few days and everything was great, large room with balcony, comfortable bed and pillows, cleaning when requested. The location is at the heart of the old town which is very lively all days and everything is near by, including the central market. It is definitely a cool spot to stay in Casablanca, especially for those that know what they're looking for.
