We really enjoyed the breakfasts that were on offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was well stocked with everything needed for our stay.

The room was above reception in a maisonette but it was also below other rooms. Noise echoed down the staircase so we heard when people walked around, closed doors etc. There's construction on the property so most of the facilities are affected like the pool, restaurant and wine tasting area. This should have been factored into the price as I don't think it's fair to pay for spaces we couldn't access or spaces that were compromised. We received a code for the main gate but the guards weren't always consistent with accepting the code when we took ubers in and out of the property. On the first night, they tried to call reception when we showed them the code. A fire alarm went off at night, which was stressful. We found out everything was okay only after we called reception. They did not communicate or check in with guests. Breakfast options were limited.
