We liked the fact that it was located in the centre of the city, and the staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful which impacts the overall score and our impression.
Overall, this is a 3-star hotel with relatively reasonable prices, so one would expect certain level of service, and comfort. I understand that some things are out of management's direct control such as state of the building and so on. However, there are two major issues that need to be pointed out. First, while every room has an AC unit, you aren't provided with a remote. Staff mentioned itβs centrally controlled, but that made no senseβespecially during a severe heatwave with temperatures pushing past 45Β°C. It was extremely uncomfortable. Second, and most importantly for me, is the mattress quality. On our first night, the mattress in our room was so old that I could feel every single spring, making it impossible to sleep. We complained the next morning and were moved to another room. While the second mattress was slightly better, it was still very worn out and uncomfortable, leaving me with a sore back each morning.
