The hotel in was in a good location. The room was a good size and very clean. The shower was big and there was always plenty of hot water. The staff were always friendly and polite. Our bed seemed small but it was comfortable. The breakfastwas adequate for us.
Lift and stairs were a bit confusing.

Great location, 5 minutes from Metro, easy walk to the centre. The hill back up isnβt as bad as some make out. Excellent pizzeria right across the street.
Very good breakfast but the room itself is very small so if you are later itβs hard to get a table.
βWonderful Staff and Location to Sightsβ
This was my 2nd time at the Porto Domus Hotel ... was there in the spring with my cousin and this trip in September, I was with my adult son. We liked the 24 hr desk people. The gentleman was extremely helpful with our early arrival to store our carryon luggage, he helped to direct me to a pharmacia when we needed some allergy medicine, and he was always pleasant and smiling. The breakfast room was small, but the food is really good. There were several selections of breads/rolls, scrambled eggs, tea/coffee, cereals, fruits, meat, and, of course, pastries. The hotel's location was near two different metro entrances. Nearby about 3-4 blocks is the Catarina Street (lots of stores, lots of restaurants, a pedestrian area) and also this is near the Capela des Almas which has lots of ajuleas tiles on the outside. Our twin room was roomy for Europe. This is a quiet street and quite walkable to downtown if you can do a mile downhill. Uber does work well. Oh, also across the street is a little grocery and a fabulous Italian restaurant what has a carryout pizza option near the front but also has a full-fledged restaurant in the back that was really good and not expensive. We would stay there again.
