Old world charm. Quiet area. Walkable to the city. Restaurants & bars close by. Comfortable bed. Great hot shower. Sitting room nice in the afternoon sun.
I loved my stay, but be aware there are stairs for access

Have stayed here many years ago - it is a great location, close to great restaurants. Lovely old building.
I really enjoyed chatting with the staff and breakfast last time we stayed here some years ago - I’m sure it is much more streamlined to have self check in etc but I miss the personal touch. On street parking.

The spa was tiny wasn't a corner spa more like half the size of a normal spa parking was on the street the price was to much for what it was wanted a spa to relax an u couldn't even lay in the spa without ya legs hanging out of it

The building is beautiful and interesting, with lots of historic architectural details (like the chandelier and ceiling moulding in our room) and thoughtful furnishings, particularly in the front lounge and tea rooms. The North Hobart location is perfect too; you are close to everything in the CBD, without feeling like you’re in the middle of a soulless business area.
We would’ve liked a bigger bin in our room, but otherwise had no issues.
