“Deceptive AI altered Images online, in person the place is run down”
DO NOT BOOK! DECEPTIVE ADVERTISEMENT. This place used altered, probably AI enhanced, images of their rooms online and was in terrible shape in person. All furniture was scuffed, the AC was duct taped, and there were screws sticking out of the bed frame. I checked in dropped off my stuff to enjoy my vacation and was not able to really inspect the place until later in the evening. It was so bad that I had to change hotels. The hotel refused a cancellation and the manager hung up the phone on me while I was speaking to try to find a resolution since they did not get back to me during my trip. I said "I want to give you the opportunity to do the right thing" and the manager responded with "I don't want your opportunity" before hanging up on me as I was speaking. A completely terrible experience that if not for me changing hotels immediately, could have completely ruined what was supposed to be my birthday vacation.
