“Charming Riad with pleasant staff, well located and good value.”
The Riad was very well located - about 15 minutes walk through the souk to the centre. Plenty of restaurants and shops near by but more as you get to the centre. Near to local corner shops for water, soft drinks and snacks. (Buy alcohol from duty free if you want it). Staff were lovely, helpful and the breakfast was good - set on the rooftop. The room was well appointed with large en-suite, but like most Riads not exactly private as they don't believe in doors to bathrooms! So you have to know your partner well or turn the TV up loud! Stylishly decorated with 3 plunge pools although we only went in the small roof top one. The temperature was very hot whilst we were there at c43, so we didn't spend tons of time sitting on the roof top but there were plenty of places to read a book if it wasn't so hot. The in room air con was welcome in the afternoon heat and at night.
The roof top plunge pool could have benefitted from a net to gather the serviettes and tissues that had blown into it and sunk to the bottom.

Tout le personnel du Riad fait preuve d'une extrême gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. L'emplacement est idéal pour se promener à pied dans la medina. Lit très confortable et climatisation qui fonctionne bien. Piscine parfaite pour se détendre et de nombreux transats sur la terrasse permettant d'apprécier la magnifique vue sur Marrakech
A l'arrivée dans la chambre, il y avait un bruit fort de moteur qui n'était pas celui de la climatisation, mais le moteur de filtration de la piscine située juste au dessus. Mais nous avons été soulagés de constater que ce moteur est coupé pendant la nuit ce qui nous a permis de bien dormir
“Friendly Staff, but a Very Disappointing Room”
The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly when we needed assistance booking a taxi.
The hotel was nice, but the room was very disappointing. Although we booked a Superior Double Room, our room was located in the basement and had a persistent, strong smell of mould/damp. The hotel kept a dehumidifier running during the day, but the smell remained and made it very difficult to sleep comfortably. The room also had only a small window facing an internal, windowless hall, so there was very little natural light or ventilation. Unfortunately, the situation affected our plans significantly. We had booked four nights but ended up sleeping at the hotel for only two nights — the first and the last — because we could not comfortably stay in the room. The hotel is also located in a very busy and intense part of the Medina, which may not suit guests looking for a quieter environment.
