“lovely!”
I arrived in the middle of the night. The night receptionist I encountered was just amazing! There was a misunderstanding with my room, as I took an offer from Booking for a room with a bathtub, and I was very much looking for it, but the room I got had a shower. The receptionist made sure -remember, its the middle of the night- within minutes to offer me exactly what I wanted! Also, compliments: he is a very empathetic man, has asked me if i needed food, and offered me a few bottles of cold water when I was looking to go buy some. The room was crispy clean, the tub was big and had a Jacuzzi! I spent a few hours in it, and i was grateful for the possibility to have a smoking-allowed room! The cleaning ladies were extremely helpful with little things I never even asked. I could communicate with everybody in English and/or gestures! Overall, I had a great experience; I will definitely try to book at this hotel again when I am looking for a stay in Izmir.
one tiny thing... the refrigerator in the room was out of power when i was out, very understandable for anything else in the room. With 36 degrees when i was there i would love to have something cold or frozen coming back in.
