“Proximity to York city centre, in comfort and style!”
Well appointed spacious room. We stayed in the Versailles on main floor. Room was quiet, despite Guest house located on a busy street. Shower was great. Bed comfortable. Proximity to centre of York is great, just a 25-30 min walk, with bus links if you need. Glad for on-site parking. There's also a kitchen complete with sitting area so you can enjoy your meals there if you want. We were happy to be able to warm up the scones we bought in town and enjoy them on a plate!
The parking is a little tight to get in and out from, but we appreciated having it nonetheless. Not a big fan of contactless checking-in with no-one to greet you, maybe that is due to our age group (seniors), but all in all it went well.

Location and price were good strange having no staff to speak to no food facility in operation what so ever . Some minor maintenance issues other than that a lovely stay, thank you

The guest house was further out of the city then I hoped for, although my main reason for choosing this location was parking but circumstances meant I couldn't drive.
The decor was very interesting and the ipad was easy to use to control air conditioning
