“Great potential, needs more upkeep”
There were lots of things we absolutely loved: the staff were very kind and friendly, always on hand to answer any questions (both in person and via the app outside opening hours), and took the initiative to offer to change our towels or bed linen as we were staying for over two weeks. The location is brilliant; you’re right on the promenade in just one minute and within about a 20-minute walk of all the city’s major sights and meeting points for day trips. There were free snacks, water and milk as welcome gifts, and the bed is very cosy. There’s also a large TV and a lovely living room.
So why is my overall rating still poor? Well, many have already mentioned that the kitchen and bathroom are very run-down. That’s true, and I didn’t think it was a big deal at first: a holiday flat isn’t a luxury hotel that’s constantly being refurbished. But during our longer stay, we realised it was worse than we’d thought, and this also affected the cleanliness: most of the plates and cups in the cupboard was dirty. Admittedly, this is likely down to the guests before us (you’re supposed to wash them yourself before check-out), but I’d expect a check and for any issues to be rectified. There’s also a rack for drying plates, but it was so sticky and dirty that we couldn’t use it. We also had to clean the washing machine first before it was any good – our first load of washing smelled awful and needed to be rewashed, also found lots of dust under the bed, triggering my asthma.

Great location, close to many attractions and restaurants. Beautifully landscaped and presented. The pool area is amazing! Our apartment was clean, had comfy beds and pillows, a large bathroom and lounge area, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Parking at the front and rear. Would definitely stay again.
