βA spacious and luxurious/romantic stay very close to everything and right on the lake!β
This second level apartment (#14) was a beautiful spacious apartment with a great layout! Though it was just the two of us for this stay, the 3 bedroom apartment would be a great choice accommodating a family as well. The kitchen and laundry were packed with everything you could need for a multi-night stay, and the furniture/decor provided a wonderful high end relaxing environment. Check in/check out with reception was easy and seamless, and housekeeping did a lovely job servicing our room when required. The stainless steel tub on the deck was a beautiful way to watch the sunset, relaxing in a steaming hot bath. Though there are more apartments visible off the back deck, the view of lake TaupΕ and surrounding hills/mountains are fabulous! A short walk down to the back gate and we were on the absolute lakefront pathway that is perfect to get the morning stroll/jog or even walk to a nearby coffee and breakfast spot. We hope to return for another stay with more family members in the future.
Sadly the master bedroomβs mattress was very worn with a large sagging dip on one side, and firm centre ridge along the centre which prevented me to move over out of the low spot. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on resulting in a sore back/body each morning. I would suggest replacing that mattress for future guests. Driving the car down to the carpark was very risky as the driveway tightens to a bottleneck with no way of telling if another car is going to come speeding around the corner to enter/exit. Sadly there isnβt much that can be done due to the fencing but perhaps a mirror on the bend?

Very nice - plenty of room
No communication by staff on our arrival about scaffolding across the garage early the next morning. We nearly missed the booking we had because of the time it took for the workers to dismantle the scaffolding so we could get out of the car park. If weβd been told about it - we would have moved our car out of the garage before they started.
