Last stayed here in 2022 and this is my 2nd time. Unlike previous, i got upgraded so thanks to Noah at front desk The suite is large, follows overall hotel design. Tv has CNN Gym is medium sized, ok. Hotel breakfast similar to other 4/5 stars in China Wifi here is the weak point. First night completely dead and i had to get the internal staff access. 2nd day weak throughout the hotel 9/10

This international hotel doesn't provide a VPN, unlike other international hotels throughout China. This makes it difficult when you're trying to work and I was very underwhelmed.
The room decor is quite dated and even though it is called JW Marriot Westlake, it's actually nowhere near Westlake, so keep this in mind if you're booking it and want somewhere to walk of an evening.
