“Italian elegance and very large room. Good location”
The old world elegance of the rooms. The location was great. The staff gave excellent instructions on how to arrive and park in their courtyard.
The lighting was very poor in the bathroom. A few burnt out lights.
“A bit faded but still glorious”
The hotel is right in the old centre of town so easy walks to interesting sites. The staff were very helpful and provided a great recommendation for dinner a short walk away. The old salons on the first floor were amazing. Parking at the hotel was convenient, and the staff guided us over the phone to find the place when we got lost. The rooms were air conditioned. Breakfast had a decent selection of foods and good coffee.
Whilst the room had a kettle, it had only glasses and no cups, tea or coffee provided. The room, a junior suite, was spacious but a little tired and the double room that our friend booked seemed more recently renovated. The roof terrace was a great spot for a drink in the evening but the bar was not operating - we brought our own drinks instead.
